| Abstract: | Francois Mauriac(1885-1970) is a well known modern French writer.The main themes of his novels are money oriented marriage and desert of love.This paper briefly discusses the themes to help more Chinese readers acquaint themselves with him and his works and help them understand and appreciate the rich and colorful themes of foreign literature. |
