| Abstract: | The market in Luoyang underwent five historical phases of development, including the rising period in Western Zhou Dynasty, the growing period from the eastern Zhou Dynasty to the Western Han Dynasty, the flourishing period in the Eastern Han Dynasty, the stagnating period in Wei and Jin, the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and the prime time in Sui and Tang dynasties. Because of the tortuous progress of history, the market in Luoyang was destructed and built in alternation as a distinct characteristic. |
