| Abstract: | Notes on Illusion, a famous work with 400 thousand odd words written by Shi Tiesheng, ex-erts much influence on literary field for the great thoughts and fascinates literary styles contained in it. Larges numbers of researchers speak highly of both the themes revealed in this great work, such as the diffi-culty of existence and survival, the contradiction and paradox in life, the exploration of all kinds of possibili-ties in life, deep religious feelings, and the literary skills employed in it, such as thought-provoking lan-guage, unique use of metaphor, polyphonic structures and complex narrative forms. |
