| Abstract: | Mao Dun loved children all his life,and translated lots of foreign children＇s literary works tor Chinese children in the May Fourth Period. Based on Skopos Theory in functional translation theory, the present paper attempts to analyze Mao Dun＇s strategy for translating foreign children＇s literature, exploring the dynamics of his strategy and the presentation of the strategy in his translation activities from the aspects of his translation aim, his choice of the original text and his translation methods. |
