| 摘 要： | 莱考夫和约翰逊的概念隐喻理论认为，隐喻是人类的认知现象，是一种思雏方式。文章将概念隐喻理论具体运用到大学英语的词汇教学中，探讨了如何通过概念隐喻来学习英语多义词、英语习语以及如何通过概念隐喻将相关词汇联系起来习得。

| Abstract: | Lakoff and Johnson(1980) state,metaphor is a basic human thinking way or cognitive process.This paper intends to offer some implications of conceptual metaphor theory for vocabulary teaching through the applications of this theory to vocabulary teaching and learning in analyzing polysemy,idioms and words connection. |
