| Abstract: | Herbart＇s pedagogy made the pedagogy an independent discipline, and thus he established a rigorous and integrated system of education. His theoretical system is based on his practical philosophy （ethics） and psychology. This paper is about a discussion of his ethics and psychology. Undoubtedly, it will be helpful to our better understanding and inheritance of his educational thoughts. |
