英语语法命题规律对语法教学的启示——以英语专业四级考试为例

摘    要:通过对近8年英语专业四级考试语法试题的统计分析,归纳出英语专业四级考试命题以时态、各类从句、非谓语动词用法为主,其他考点均匀分布。结合学生的错题情况发现学生的薄弱环节表现在对语法规则不熟悉,词汇量不够,语法术语和句子成分分析不了解等方面。教师在具体教学实践中,既要帮助学生掌握语法规则,扩大学生的词汇量,知晓识记语法专业术语,加强句子成分分析能力;也要帮助学生学会运用规则来指导语言实践活动,切实有效地促进学生英语综合应用能力的全面提高,培养出合格的高级应用型英语人才。

Abstract:The statistic analysis of the recent 8-year grammar questions in TEM-4 shows that these questions mainly focus on tense, clauses and non-finite verbs, with other testing points evenly distributed in the test paper. Students' errors indicate that their weaknesses lie in the aspects such as being unfamiliar with grammatical rules, lack of enough vocabulary, not being clear about both the grammatical terms and the analysis of sentence elements. Therefore, in practical teaching, teachers should not only help students master grammatical rules, enlarge their vocabulary, memorize grammatical terms and improve their ability of analyzing sentence elements, but also help them learn how to use grammatical rules to guide their activities for language practice. Only in this way can we effectively promote students' English comprehensive ability and cultivate high-level qualified applied English talents.
