| Abstract: | Both English and Chinese idioms have numerous and complicated origins and unique language characteristics.Along with the comparison of the similarities and differences between English and Chinese idioms,the analysis of their cultural origins will give people insight into different historical cultures,social traditions and religious ethics,reduce the distance between the people with different cultures and improve peoples’ intercultural communication. |
