| Abstract: | In the light of electrostatic field theory, this paper discusses the charging mechanism of the dust particle by ion bombardment and ion diffusion in electrostatic precipitators,and obtains some equations which can expiain the charging state of the dust particle. The paper also points out the influence on charging exerted by particle size, supplied voltage and field construction. |
