| Abstract: | By way of literature study, this paper analyzed and explained the characteristics of the professional sports industry in Japan from the following aspects: types of professional sports in Japan, current situation of professional sports industry in Japan and its development tendency, the market scale, number of spectators, price of tickets, the management of the four major state run professional sports, income of professional athletes, and possible problems existing. Experiences were provided for the development of professional sports in China. |
