| Abstract: | This paper,on the basis of major English teaching,discusses the necessity and feasibility concerning the cultivation of cultural consciousness in the teaching of a basic course for English majors.It also deals with the synthesis of elements in language and culture learning.It aims to help the students learning how to cultivate cultural consciousness and how to master cultural differences in the basic course in English. |
