| 摘 要： | 1905年至1920年之间，美日两国为争夺在华权益进行了激烈的角逐。几番较量，美国均处于下风。美国的失败不是偶然的，这是近代以来美日在远东地区矛盾斗争、以及美国对日绥靖的必然结果，也与美国在远东外交上的孤立地位有关。

| Abstract: | From 1905 to 1920, America and Japan fiercely competed with each other in the rights in China, yet America was always in an inferior state. The failure of America was not accidental; it was the natural consequence of their struggle in the Far East as well as the inevitable result of American appeasement policy to Japan. Meanwhile, it also had much to do with the diplomatically isolated position of America in this region. This situation was not changed until the Washington Conference. |
