Abstract:Keeping rabbit has such advantages as low investment, high benefit and instant effect. In this area, rabbit keeping has begun to take shape. The breeds mainly include long-haired rabbit and Chinese white rabbit.Chinese white rabbit is characterized by slow growth speed(1),which has a serious effect on the development of rabbit keeping.Through feeding experiment with different percentages between fine fodder and daily biological fodder, the obtained result shows that the growth speed of rabbit is obviously increasing(p<0.05) when biological fodder is added. The effect is considerably remarkable as biological fodder accounts for 2% of fine fodder(p<0.01).It is able to increase the growth speed of rabbit, reduce fodder cost and raise fodder returns, with great economic benefit. The effect makes no difference when the figure is bigger or smaller(p>0.05).Biological fodder can lessen the smells from livestock and fowls and stinks of animal's waste. It is of great significance to maintain the sustainable development of husbandry, solve the problem of livestock struggling food from humans, produce green food and reduce environmental pollution.
Keywords:rabbit  biological fodder  growth speed  effect
