| 摘 要： | 近年来的发展证明公共图书馆在现代化社会文化服务体系中占据着重要地位，本文分别从地方特色资源的开发利用与传播、网络化信息资源的充分利用、多方位地与社会机构合作，实现资源共享、为弱势群体提供有效便捷的服务、丰富多样的个性化休闲服务五个方面阐述公共图书馆文献借阅功能以外服务职能的延伸。

A Brief Discussion on the Service Function Extension of Modern Public Libraries |

| Abstract: | The development in recent years has proved the im-portant role of public libraries in the modern social and cultural service system. In this paper, the service function extension of public libraries out of literature borrowing was expounded from the following five aspects：the development and use of local char-acteristic resources, the full use of network information resources, multi-faceted cooperation with social institutions, realizing re-source sharing and providing effective and convenient services for vulnerable groups, and a variety of personalized leisure services. |
