| Abstract: | Based on the analysis of accuracy through error interrelation,this paper points out that the equal probability density curve of ship's positionfixed by two interrelated LOP is the ellipse. Also, formulas are provided focalculating parameters of the root square error ellipse and a simple method is givenfor drawing the ellipse. |
