| Abstract: | Historical -evolutionary concepti on of literature is the core idea in Hu Shi's theory of literary revolution,which possesses the gre atest continuity and theoretic sign ificance.From the standpoint of evolution to the study of the history of Chinese literature,this ingenious blend is ta ctful.It strategically established the canonical status of vernacular lite rature,and easily won a rapid success of the revolution,thus created a mi racle in the history of modern Chinese litera ture. |
