| Abstract: | The loss and dislocation of the cultural images, a common phenomenon in translation, affects the intercultural communication. Traditional translation research mainly focuses on the approach to and the method of conveying cultural images. This arti-cle studies, in the perspective of media-translatology, the loss and dislocation of the cultural images in translation and explores the reasons for this cultural phenomenon and its positive effect. |
