多元文化教育:加拿大的经验及启示

摘    要:加拿大联邦和政府的多元文化教育政策和措施主要包括:文化保存计划、官方语言教育计划、多元文化教育和反种族主义教育。其多元文化教育是全方位的教育,实施多元文化教育是社会、学校和家庭共同的义务和责任。这种全方位的多元文化教育政策大大地推动了各民族教育的发展,尤其是土著印第安人教育的发展;调整和缓和了民族矛盾、保证了国家的安定和繁荣。其经验值得我国借鉴。

Abstract:The policies and measures taken by the Canadian federal government towards multicultural education mainly include culture preservation program,official language education program,multicultural education and anti-racial education.Its multicultural education is omni-directional and it is a duty shared by the society,schools and families to carry out multicultural education.This policy of an omni-directional multicultural education has greatly promoted development of education for different nationalities,especially for the native Indians.It has mitigated racial contradictions and ensured national stability and prosperity.Its experience is worthy of learning and using for reference in our county.
