| Abstract: | Taking all 80 geographical names from the contents in the Outlaws of Marsh translated by Shapiro for examples,the paper deeply analyzes the features and cultural connotation of geographical names,describes its translation methods and through the comparative study for some geographical names of a particular era,points out their cultural differences,which is expected to offer some thoughts for the study of translation methods of geographical names in the related fields. |
