| Abstract: | Transfer education,vocational education and community education are three primary functions in American community college. Community education came out relatively later,but it is the most driving function, which includes adult education, continuous education, lifelong learning, community services and community-based education. Making a study on the development of and the prospect of American college has great enlightment to functions expanding and education reform of Chinese higher vocational schools. |
