| 摘 要： | 晚清以来,西方近代体育伴随着各种思潮和文化形态蜂拥而至,报刊杂志等大众传播媒体在期间起到了重要的推动作用.通过对近代以来中国最有影响力的杂志之一的<东方杂志>刊载的体育报道、译介和评论等进行梳理,认为<东方杂志>对近代体育在中国的传播做出过巨大的努力和贡献.
