| 摘 要： | 本文把中国现代随笔概念置放在中西不同文化背景中考察，注意辨析西方“ｅｓｓａｙ”与中国古代随笔概念之间的异同，指出中国现代学者在“五四”后既直接承续西方“ｅｓｓａｙ”的精神余脉，同时又为西方强势话语阻断的中国传统意义上的“随笔”名称重新正名，使之充当起知识生产和社会批判的重要角色，因而传统的文类被赋予了新的理念。

| Abstract: | This essay puts the Chinese modern informal essay in the investigation of the background of Chinese and Western culture. It analyses the difference of essay between Chinese and Western style. It points out that the Ch inese scholars followed the style of Western essay after the May 4 movement of 1919.But meanwhile it also corrects the traditional Chinese meaning of informal essay hindered by Western powerful words. It makes the Chinese informal essay pl ay an important role in knowledge production and social criticism. In this way, the traditional Chinese style is entrusted with the new meaning. |
