| 摘 要： | 文章通过回顾高尔吉亚的哲学思想、修辞技巧和对修辞学的贡献,试图说明高尔吉亚和柏拉图所谈论的修辞学视角不一样。高尔吉亚修辞学更偏重政治目的,而柏拉图所谓的却是哲学上的修辞术。柏拉图一味地区分它们的异同只会导致本来同属一个有机整体的修辞学被迫分道扬镳。如果我们能够重新审视高尔吉亚的作品,就会发现高尔吉亚是一个把哲学和修辞学完美融为一体的修辞家。他的修辞思想和修辞技巧对今天的我们仍有很大的借鉴意义。

| Abstract: | By reviewing Gorgias′ philosophical thoughts,his rhetorical techniques and his contributions toward Rhetoric,the paper states that Gorgias′ rhetoric art is different from Plato′s with the former emphasizes on political use while the latter pays more attention on philosophical sides.Plato′s overemphasis of the two different functions of Rhetoric results in the organic whole splitting.If we examine carefully about Gorgias′ works and thoughts,we may find he is a great orator who combines philosophy and rhetoric perfectly;furthermore,Gorgias′ rhetorical thoughts and rhetorical techniques are still very useful nowadays. |
