| 摘 要： | "国书"一词常见于古代典籍中,《辞源》和《汉语大词典》关于此词的释义不全面。与史籍相关的"国书"一词在南北朝隋唐时指本国国史或前代某国、某朝的国史。在宋代范围扩大,具体包括日历、实录、会要、勅令、御集、宝训、玉牒、时政记、起居注,亦有国史(多指正史)义。元明含义与南北朝隋唐相近,清代多指满族文字。不清楚各个时代"国书"的含义会造成误读古籍的错误。此外,"国书"是春秋齐国一卿士名,当于辞典中立此义项。

| Abstract: | The word ＂guo shu＂ is frequently appeared in ancient texts. The explanation of this word in Chinese Etymology Dictionary and The Great Chinese Dictionary is not comprehensive. When relating with his- torical books, ＂guo shu＂ in the South and North Dynasties till Tang Dynasty refers to national history of one＇ s own country, or the history of a previous state or dynasty. In Song Dynasty the meaning of this word has been extended to include calendars, documentaries, compendium of government and social institutions, edicts, em- peror＇ s admonitory and writings, royal genealogy, current political reports ; royal living notes, etc. It also re- fers to national（ usually official） history books. In Yuan Dynasty, its meaning is similar to that in South and North Dynasties and Tang Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty, it refers to the books written in Manchurian lan- guage. Without knowing the different meanings of ＂guo shu＂ in different dynasties, we may make some mis- takes in reading ancient books. By the way, ＂Guo Shu＂ is also the name of an officer of Qi state in Spring - Autumn period, this entry should also be included in the dictionary. |
