| Abstract: | This paper describes the forming of Japanese private novels in 1920s, and discusses the issues such as its relation to mood novels, and then reviews the research on private novels of the postwar time and since 1990s, explores the form changing of contemporary private novels and the consequent concept transition of this kind of novels. |
