| 摘 要： | 高等教育大众化使高校走近寻常百姓中间，而高等学校的图书馆则自然成为了社会图书存量最大的机构，为充分利用高校图书馆资源，与社会共享，高校图书馆必须自觉服务社会，尤其是地方高校图书馆，这也是高等教育自身功能的要求。地方高校图书馆服务社会的路径可以有很多种类型，大体上主要有三大类：首先是传播知识，其次是发挥信息化中介作用，再次是利用图书馆信息收集、整理、编排的能力开发社会信息平台作用。

| Abstract: | The college library soceity-serving has history inevitability and particularity itself. To construct learning community, accompanying the college, the library can use own resource to go out the tower of ivory ,to serve soceity, it is praxis meaning. The college library soceity-serving has many ways, which bases on itself superiority and soceity demands. The college library serves soceity not only to satisfy soceity but to share its resource. |
