摘    要:形成性评估是对教学过程中进行的过程性和发展性评估,是自主学习环境下有效监控学生学习过程、培养学生自主学习能力的评估方式。由于它突出了学生的主体地位,因而也能显著地提高教学效率。本文从形成性评估的概念入手,阐述了形成性评估理论的基本要素,强调了形成性评估教学模式以及形成性评估对大学英语教学的作用,探讨了形成性评估在大学英语教学中的实际应用和实施方法。

Abstract:Formative evaluation is an ongoing assessment employed by teachers during the teaching process in order to monitor students' learning progress by self-learning in an effective way. It makes an obvious improvement in teaching efficiency in terms of its student's centered model. This article starts with the conception of formative evaluation, illustrates relevant theory and essential elements, focuses on the model and contribution to College English teaching, and finally discusses about the practical application and implementation to College English teaching.
