| 摘 要： | 从索绪尔的符号二元关系角度，以乐眉云教授根据索绪尔语言符号观总结的语言符号性质的六对矛盾为框架，具体分析了委婉语作为语言符号的性质和特征，从一个崭新的角度重新认识了委婉语。认为委婉语作为语言符号具有任意性与约束性，社会性与心理性，不变性与可变性，相关性与区别性，形式与物质实体，组合关系与联想关系六方面的特征。

| Abstract: | The present study analyzes the linguistic sign＇s nature of euphemism based on the Saussure＇s semiotic view of language and six pairs of contradictions concluded by Professor Le Meiyun. A new point of view is revealed in understanding euphemism with six features： arbitrariness and constraint; sociality and psychology; variability and invariability; relevance and difference; form and material entity; relationship of combination and association. |
