| Abstract: | Serving as the main forms of public cultural services, exhibitions and educational programming receive more and more emphasis from more museums nowadays. But since there lie restrictions in history, concepts and talents as for science and technology museums, some misunderstandings about development and shortcomings still exist. Among them, the most highlighted are focusing on exhibitions only in concepts, and replacing exhibitions with educational programming, as well as separating exhibitions with educational programming in practice. The essay is towards the exhibition-education separation issue for an exploration, and to offer five solutions and suggestions on how to upgrade the exhibition-education integration levels as for science and technology museums. |
