| Abstract: | With an analysis of the evolution and status quo of Taiwanlu historic district, it elaborates the practices of renovation and conservation planning in protecting the historic authenticity, keeping the integrity of style and features and maintaining life continuity. It puts forward the pioneering attempt in working out planning and designing file for historic district conservation, explores how to find the balance between city construction and preservation of historic districts for double-sided benefits. |
