| Abstract: | Places of memory,edited by French historian Pierre Nola,brings together articles of many French historians,and is one of the most influential historical works in France.The whole book covers a wide range of contents and is quite enligtening.Focusing on the key concept of"places of memory",this paper analyzes and reveals Pierre Nora's ideas of archival memory,in order to introduce a new academic perspective for archival research. |
