| 摘 要： | 当我们名义上取消了“主要款目”后,仍在机读目录中留下它的尾巴,使编目员对责任者名义上的平等地位迷惑不解。在机读目录中并无“款目”,更无“主要款目”、“附加款目”,但却有责任不同的知识责任块。用“实体－关系”概念模型,我们可以比较客观地观察编目工作的实体及其相互关系,以及这种关系对用户需求的映射。在概念模型中,我们看到了“责任者”实体与“著作”实体之间的“责任”关系,认识到揭示这种关系,反映其性质与主次相对于用户需求的必要性。无论是传统的MARC还是新兴的元数据、如果需要发挥目录的应有功能,就不能无视具备这些功能的种种手段,不管这些手段我们称作“主要款目”、“主要知识责任”,还是什么别的名称。

| Abstract: | There are no entries , let alone"main entries and added entries in MARC except the Responsibility Blocks of various importance. With the help of the Entity - Relation Conceptual Model, we can investigate rather objectively both the entities and their relations in cataloging and mapping of these relations to users' demands. In the conceptual model, the relation between the responsibilities entities and works entities is revealed, and the necessity of its revelation to emphasize its nature and relative importance with respect to the users' demands confirmed. If we hope to bring the given functions of a catalog into full play, we should not disregard such measures which have those functions, no matter how they are named, main entries , chief knowledge responsibilities and what not. |
