篇章教学法在大学英语精读教学实践中的应用

摘    要:学生篇章意识薄弱,英语语言能力只停留在句子水平上,因此造成阅读理解能力不足,这是一些大学生英语学习中普遍面临的问题。文章借助于外语阅读和篇章教学法的相关理论,试图提出精读教学应引入篇章教学法,立足篇章整体,分析篇章结构,以培养学生的篇章意识,提高学生英语阅读理解能力。

Abstract:Some college students are confronted with the deficiency in English reading comprehension,which is caused by their lack of discourse awareness and their habit of reading at sentence level.Based on the theories on reading in foreign languages and discourse analysis,this paper proposes that in English Intensive Reading class,discourse teaching should be introduced with the emphasis on the integrity and the organization of the reading text in order to raise students’discourse awareness and improve their English reading ability.
