| 摘 要： | 和谐社会是人类共同的美好追求.严复作为中国近代著名的启蒙思想家,在这方面也有新的建树.他从"天演"和中西文化融合的独特视角,运用西方社会学的社会机体和谐理论,就社会转型过程中社会机体、社会根基的和谐问题进行了深刻的思考.他认为社会机体和谐的核心是"自由为体、民主为用";社会根基的和谐则是提升全民族的文化素质,即"鼓民力、开民智、新民德".但无论是社会机体,还是社会根基,都是在不断调适与会通的动态过程中逐步达到和谐的.

| Abstract: | Harmony society is a desirability of Humanity. Yan Fu, who is one of well-known enlightenment thinker, makes a great achievement on harmony society. From the special aspect of Evolution and Ethics and the aspect of Chinese and western cultural integration, he thought about the harmony problems of the society base and social organism in the social transformation under the harmony theory in western sociology. He proposed that the core of social organism harmony is freedom as the fundamental structure, democracy for practical use, and the social base harmony is to improve the cultural qualities of the whole people, which are to strengthen the national body, to enlighten the national mind and to freshen the national morality. However, both the social organism and social base get harmony in the process of adjustment and communication. |
