| 摘 要： | 《一九八四》和《苍老的浮云》以寓言式的建构，喻示人的主体性在自我“凝视”之下的衰竭，自我“凝视”在基督教和儒家的文化传统中是美善自律的精神之根，但在文明进程中受社会权力的“规训”，产生了丑恶自控的位移，转变为自我监控。“自我凝视”对人的主体性的压制，引发我们去思考人如何在现代文明的挤压下保存和发展主体性的自由与独立。

| Abstract: | The Year 1984 and The Aged Floating Clouds reveal the demise of the human subjective under self-gaze with a fable structure. In Christian and Confucian cultural traditions, self-gaze symbolizes the root of virtue. However, in the process of civilization, it has been disciplined by the social power and degenerated to the disgusted self-discipline. The suppression of self-gaze to the human subjective leads us in pondering over how to keep and develop the freedom and independence of the subjective under the pressure of modern civilization. |
