| 摘 要： | “嘏”在《现代汉语词典》中是一个异读词，《辞源（第三版）》明确了唯一的读音“jiǎ”。探析“嘏”和“叚”的同源词身份，并进一步指出“嘏”是两个构字部件音义兼顾的双声符字。从“嘏”的语音发展过程，可以看出“jiǎ”是语音正常演变的结果，“嘏”ɡǔ读音当是语音讹变造成的。

| Abstract: | “嘏” is a word with variant pronunciations in Modern Chinese Dictionary, and Ciyuan (3rd edition) gives definitely the only pronunciation“jiǎ”. This article demonstrates that“嘏” and“叚” are cognate words, and points out that“嘏” is a character with dual phonetic elements which both owning its meaning. From the developing process of“嘏”, we can see that“jiǎ” is a natural result of the development of phonology, and“ɡǔ” (嘏) should be a false change of pronunciation. |
