| Abstract: | The chief objective of learning mathematics is to put it into actual use. But as the mathematics taught at school is quite out of line with the mathematics used in the real life, it becomes very difficult for the students to utilize what they have learned at school after graduation. Tracing to the very origion of this problem, the thesis presents a sound explanation to the reason why practical mathimatical problems are difficult. |
