博耶学术思想及其对高等教育的意义

摘    要:联系是博耶学术思想的基础,它体现在人类的核心共性之中。博耶将学术内涵扩展成为探究、综合、应用和教学四种,并提出了学者品质、效绩标准、学术证明和过程可靠的评价原则,以及“创造性契约”的建议。博耶学术思想对高等教育的意义首先体现在对本科生的教育做出了创新,其次体现在为美国新一代大学勾画出了蓝图。

Abstract:Connection is the base of Boyer's academic ideas, which embodies in the core commonalities of human. Boyer extends the scholarship into the one of discovery, integration, application and teaching. He puts forward the principles for the evaluation: the scholar's character, the criterion of the accountability, the academic certification and the credibility of the course. He also puts forward the suggestion of the creativity contract. The significance of his academic ideas on the higher education firstly lies in his innovation for the undergraduate education, and secondly in his design for the New American College.
