| 摘 要： | 中国传统道德存在“私德”和“公德”两种道德倾向,这与孟子、荀子“礼”思想的差异有着内在必然的联系。孟子的“礼”强调个人内在修为,追求由内及外的道德指标,带有明显的“私德”倾向。荀子之“礼”多注重以社会群体为单位、以公共关系为视角的外塑原则,带有明显的“公德”倾向。以孟、荀“礼”思想的差异为出发点来探讨其与中国传统道德的联系,无疑是一个新的视角。

On the Differences between Meng Zi's and Xun Zhi's Views on "Etiquette" and Their Internal Relation with the Dissimilar Inclination of Traditional Morals |

| Abstract: | There exist two moral inclinations-"personal morals" and "social ethics" in traditional Chinese morals, which is related to the differences in the view of "etiquette" between Meng Zi and Xun Zi. In Meng's opinion, "etiquette" stresses the inner upbringing of individuals and concentrates on the moral norms ranging from inner upbringing to exterior conduct. In the eyes of Xun Zi, "etiquette" focuses on the external standards with social communities as the basic units and public relations as the angle of vision. It is a fresh perspective to consider the differences between Meng Zi's and Xun Zi's views on "etiquette" as the starting point for exploring its relationship with traditional Chinese morals. |
