| Abstract: | Through analysis of the principles adopted by the various countries, the factors to be considered in determining the ship's safe under-keel clearance (UKC) are pointed out, which include the harbor's prevailing conditions, local hydrographical and meteorological environment, ship's type, size and speed, etc. |
