| 摘 要： | 针对高校英语教育的现状,进行改革是一项艰巨的任务。一要加强学生思想工作,激发学生学习热情;二要引导学生改进学习方法,明确教与学的关系;三要突破传统教育模式,以培养学生技能为本;四要提高公共英语教育者的自身素质。搞好高校英语教育改革,需在实践中摸索出一条适合学生具体情况,适应社会发展需要的英语教育新路子。

| Abstract: | With the surprising development in technology and economy,the task of public English education at colleges is becoming more and more arduous.To solve the problems in existence and carry out the reform in this field, we'd better set out from such a few aspects. First, strengthen students' confidence and stimulate their enthusiasm about English learning; second, help students improve their study habits and define the relationship between teaching and learning; third, reform the traditional education pattern and base teaching on developing students' various skills in using English; fourth, improve qualities of English teachers. In a word, it is a systematic project to reform and improve English language education. |
