| 摘 要： | 受社会习俗影响产生的专有名词和带有化色彩的习语，以及一些常识性词语是汉译英口译过程中需要解决的问题。由于化习俗上的差别，必要的信息增补有助于听话人对原义的正确理解。常用的有特殊名词、习语和引语的增补、常识性知识的注解和创造语境等增补方法。

| Abstract: | Culture-loaded terms have always given interpreters a big headache when they translate from Chinese into English.As a result,supplementary information is provided in the hope of enhancing the listener's comprehension of the translated version.This essay purports to discuss some of the techniques in this respect in the light of some examples from the students' performance in oral interpretation class. |
