| 摘 要： | 夸张辞格是一种常用的修辞手法。在日常会话中,交际双方往往违反合作原则,有意识地夸大或缩小事物的性质、特征。这样虽然有悖于交际初衷,但会话仍可进行下去。本文从语用角度分析夸张与合作原则以及它的语用功能,促成对这种辞格的进一步了解,以提高交际效果。

| Abstract: | Hyperbole is a commonly-used figure of speech.In daily communication, people usually break the cooperative principle （CP） purposely and exaggerate or understate the nature or value of a thing.Though this is usually against the people＇s original intention, the conversation can go on.This paper analyzes the function of hyperbole in the pragmatic perspective so as to help people to understand it better and improve the communicative efficiency. |
