| 摘 要： | 目前,我国许多城市和旅游景点公示语的英译存在如乱译、误译、语用错误、不规范等诸多问题.其原因主要是译者的中英语言知识水平不高和对中英语言、社会和文化的差异知之甚少,特别是违背英语的习惯表达方式,忽视公示语翻译的语用功能和意义.针对这些问题,必须从分析汉英两种语言、社会、文化差异,重视指令性"禁止类"公示语英译的语用意义和语用得体性入手,探讨可行的语用翻译策略.以达到规范翻译行为,提高翻译质量,准确传达信息,有效地进行对外交流和宣传的目的.

| Abstract: | In China today,there are still many translation mistakes and problems of public signs in cities and tourist sites to be tackled.In order to solve these problems,special attentions must be paid to differences between Chinese and English languages,the two societies and the two highly-different cultures;and even special attentions should be paid to the pragmatic sense and pragmatic appropriateness of the words to be translated.This paper mainly deals with the translation tactics of Directive "Forbidden" Public Signs in two ways: firstly introducing briefly and theoretically the functions,characteristics of this kind of public signs;secondly and mainly,discussing its pragmatic translation tactics from the angle of cultural differences and pragmatic equivalence by providing detailed representative cases. |
