| Abstract: | The fairy- tales of Hans Christian Andersen have always been interpreted and understood inthe narrow sociological context in China. Replacing them in the cultural atmosphere where these fairy-tales were originally created, however, it is possible to re- read the fairy- tales of Andersen in the lightof Christianity. |
