| 摘 要： | 通过对《美国教育家传记辞典》、《美国现代教育家传记辞典》以及《美国国民传记辞典》所收录的教育家进行统计分析发现,自殖民地时期以来,美国知名教育家在出生时间和地区、学术活动阶段和地区、学术工作领域等方面呈现出鲜明的阶段和区域分布特征.在此基础上,作者分析了美国教育精英群体分布特征产生的原因,以探究教育家精英群体及其学术传统形成的社会过程.
