Er^3+:Y0.5Gd0.5,VO4晶体光谱性质研究

摘    要:测量了1.62at%-Er^3+ Y0.5Gd0.5,VO4晶体的吸收光谱和荧光发射谱,光谱显示该晶体在382、525、1536nm有很强的偏振光吸收峰,且偏振光(E∥C)吸收远强于σ偏振光(E⊥C)吸收;通过计算可得,吸收截面分别为2.95013×10^-20cm^2、2.57757×10^20cm^2和1.15504×10^-20cm^2;其荧光发射(^4I15/2→^4I11/2跃迁)峰值波长在1524nm,半高宽度为72nm;415/2^I→^4I11/2跃迁的荧光寿命为3.1ms,光谱特性表明Er3^+:Y0.5,Gd0.5,VO4晶体是潜在的高效率激光晶体材料.

Abstract:In this paper, the absorption spectrum and the fluorescence (or emission) spectrum of the Er^3+: Y0.5Gd0.5VO4 crystal ane measured;its strong absorption wavelength is at 382,525,1536 nm;its π polarized absorption is stronger than its σ polarized absorption;their absorption cross section is 2.95013 ×10^-2cm^2,2. 57757×10^-20cm^2 and 1. 15504×10^-20cm^2, respectively ; Fluorescence (or emission) spectrum FWHM at 1524nm is 72nm;its fluorescence lifetime is 3.1 (Er: 1.62 at % ). These properties show that Er^3+: Y0.5 Gd0.5VO4 crystal is a kind of potential efficient laser material.
