| 摘 要： | 在翻译过程中,为了使译文在最大程度上传达原文语义及形式效果,译者往往需要根据目的语与源语各自不同的特点,采用各种补偿手段。本文通过引用《围城》(汉-英译本)译例,从汉英语言特点及文化差异两方面分析汉英翻译中常见的几种补偿译法。

| Abstract: | Differences between the source language and the target language in translation have proved application of compensation means to be necessary. This paper introduces several common approaches used to compensate effects in target language that can not otherwise be achieved. Examples are taken from a Chinese-English translation version of Fortress besieged to give further explanations. |
