| 摘 要： | 大学的使命与人们对大学的认知紧密相关,不同的时代,不同的历史时期,有不同的大学认知,也就有不同的大学使命。大学特色使命经历了早期主要以传承与传播知识为己任,到教学与科研并重,再到教学、科研与社会服务并存的三个时期。而现今中国大学组织的特色使命却出现了大学信任度降低、独立性动摇、批判性削弱以及精神灵魂消解等众多问题。这些相关问题都与大学自治性的缺乏密切相关,所以把握好自治与使命的关系对当今我国大学组织的发展具有重要的现实意义。
