| 摘 要： | 本文从课堂教学效率的定义出发,根据《高职大学英语课程教学基本要求》(2000()以下简称《基本要求》)的精神,较全面地分析了高职院校大学英语课堂教学效率的现状,如满堂灌、师资水平低、教学工作量繁重、大班混合授课、课堂活动形式单一和赶教学进度等诸多因素,进而提出了提高课堂教学效率的对策,即教师要练好基本功、要营造宽松、和谐和愉快的课堂氛围、要讲究教育教学方法以及要摆正位置,突出学生的主体地位等。提高课堂教学效率是高职院校教学质量工程建设的要求,也是高职院校内涵建设的要求。
